2010 Information
Bulverde’s Jubilee Celebration – Saturday, March 6, 2010 Please join us for the 8th Annual Bulverde Jubilee Parade on Saturday, March 6, in downtown Bulverde. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. in front of city hall. Entrants include local businesses, government representatives, animal organizations, the Children's' Bicycle Brigade, and much more. Participants are welcome to throw items such as candy, flowers, beads, coupons, brochures, and the like to spectators watching the parade. It is an opportunity to promote an organization or business. Participants will be judged based on their parade entries and ribbons will be given to the winners. The judges of the 2010 Jubilee Parade are Cindy Cross, Buzz Heye and Sam Roberts. The alternate judges will be Aaron Krejci and John Sykes. The Grand Marshals of the 2010 Jubilee Parade are Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Brumley. The Honorary Grand Marshall is Jane Wood. The Master of Ceremonies is Brandon Curry. After the parade, there will be plenty to do for people of all ages. Live music will be played on three different stages. Booths will be set up with representatives from local area businesses. There will also be many wonderful activities for the children. In order to register for the parade, contact Erika Sykes at 830-210-639 or ejsykes@yahoo.com for a registration form. Registration forms can be mailed to Erika Sykes at 30070 Highway 281 N., Ste. 200, Bulverde, TX 78163. The parade registration deadline is February 26. Then, join the festivities on March 6 at the Bulverde Senior Center by 10 a.m. to get a parade number and to begin lining up for the event. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
