Wine Tasting on Wednesday, November 29, 2006

Greetings! Vintage Wine & Coffee Bar is excited to announce a very special evening on Wednesday, November 29th, beginning at 7:00 P.M. We will be hosting a fantastic wine tasting of wines from Italy and knoshing on a variety of tapas to delight the palate. You will be able to sample the wines while viewing the art of Angel Rincon, whose provocative works will certainly inspire conversation.

Wine Dinner on Saturday, October 28, 2006

Please join us at Vintage Wine and Coffee Bar as we re-create Dracula's Castle on Saturday, October 28, 2006 beginning at 6PM for a very special Halloween Wine Dinner with this scrumptious menu. We will be serving Castiellero del Diablo Wines, the official wine of Halloween and have lots of tricks and treats for everyone. Costumes are encouraged but not required.    Cost is $65 per person and Reservations and Prepayment Required.  We will have lots of tricks and treats for all guests. As the guys go off for the Annual Lion’s Club Annual Stag Wild Game Dinner on Friday, April 1st, the Vintage Invites you to Join us for an Elegant Evening of Wine, Caviar, Cheese and Dinner.  Ladies (Wild Dames) Only.  Begins at 6:00 p.m. for $20 per person.

This Wine Dinner will feature a scrumptious six course menu featuring wines and foods to Celebrate the Spring Equinox March 20th that will start at 6:00 p.m.  The wines featured for this dinner are all from Flat Creek Winery and are listed with the menu.  The price has been Updated and was only $50.00 per person plus tax and gratuity.  When making your reservations by email, please indicate your choice of grilled quail or stuffed leg of lamb for the fifth course.

This Wine Dinner featured a scrumptious six course menu featuring wines and foods of a glutinous Christmas Dinner that started at 6:00 p.m.  The price has been Updated and was only $60.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. 

Wine Dinner on Sunday, November 21, 2004

This Wine Dinner was a salute to Julia Childs with guest Chef Nancy Meadows.  She  created a scrumptious five course menu featuring wines and foods that started at 6:30 p.m.  Cost was only $50.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. 

Butterfly Sky was at the Vintage for both Friday and Saturday, November 26-27, 2004.

Wine Dinner on Sunday, June 20, 2004

For this Wine Dinner Chef Emil Friesenhahn has created another scrumptious five course menu featuring Argentine wines and foods.  Cost was only $50.00 per person plus tax and gratuity.  Vintage will be featuring five wines from the Tango Vineyard in the Mendoza Region of Argentina (Merlot, Malbec, Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon) on Saturday, June 20, 2004. This is a great way to celebrate Father's Day!  We will also be featuring Tango Dancers during the evening and playing lots of tango music.

Mother's Day Brunch was Sunday, May 9, 2004

Chef Emil Friesenhahn created a special menu to make this a memorable Mother's Day Brunch.  The Brunch was served from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and included complimentary Champagne or Mimosas and Iced Tea.  Cost was only $22.50 per person plus tax and gratuity. 

The Wine Dinner on Sunday, April 18, 2004 was a Wine Release Dinner.                     

This four course dinner started at 6:00 p.m. and featured the new wines released by Flat Creek Estate Winery, a Hill Country Vineyard and Winery west of Austin.  The new wine releases are:  Flat Creek '03 Due Ami, Flat Creek Super Texan '02 Sangiovese, Travis Peak Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon '02 and Flat Creek '03 Orange Muscat.  The Vintner from Flat Creek Estates, Craig Parker, presented the wines and Chef Emil prepared the  foods that will compliment and enhance the wine presentation.  Cost was only $50.00 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Luau

Vintage hosted a Luau featuring Hawaiian Buffet on Saturday, April 10, 2004, from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight, with Tropical Drink Specials, and Live Entertainment.  Only $20.00 Per Person plus tax.  Hawaiian Party Treats for Everyone.  Come to Vintage for a Lei.

Valentines Day Dinner on Saturday, February 14, 2004.

Vintage had a Valentine's Dinner on February 14th.  There were two seatings one at 6 PM and one at 8 PM.  Vintage was closed to normal business that night and only  served those customers who have made reservations for Valentine's.

The New Year's Eve Party was on Wednesday, December 31, 2003.

Included a marvelous buffet featuring a carving station, lobster tail, smoked salmon a cheese and fruit bar and much more.  Complimentary Champagne at midnight.  Pre paid reservations are $25.00 per person, $40 per person at the door.

The menu was:

3. Garlic and herb stuffed beef medallions with raspberry sauce for dipping

4. Congealed champagne with spring berries, accented with sugared pansies
